Big Cypress Spa by Gould's was located inside the iconic Big Cypress Lodge at the Memphis Pyramid (Bass Pro Shop). The spa offered massage, esthetics, and nail care services in a unique setting within one of Memphis's most distinctive landmarks. Gould's has been voted the #1 best hair salon and spa in Memphis for over 10 consecutive years. When operational, massage therapist Linda was highly praised for her skilled, attentive approach to addressing specific issues. The front desk staff, particularly Kari, received recognition for professional appointment handling. The lodge setting provided a one-of-a-kind spa atmosphere that guests found memorable and distinctive compared to traditional day spas. However, some guests reported inconsistent experiences, including overly intense sinus cleanses and difficulty booking appointments at convenient times relative to hotel check-in. Note: Yelp lists this location as CLOSED as of September 2025. Gould's continues to operate multiple other Memphis-area locations including their Downtown salon at 77 S Main St.
